Yogi Govt Gets A Shock: Another BJP MLA Quits Party From The Primary Membership

Lucknow, Jan 13: Another Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) lawmaker, MLA from Shikohabad seat Dr Mukesh Verma has resigned from the primary membership of the party here on Thursday.
Verma in his resignation sent to the BJP state president Swatantra Dev Singh has termed Swami Prasad Maurya, who had resigned from the Yogi cabinet, as his leader and has accused the party of neglecting Dalits and backwards. He had sent his resignation on January 11.
It may be noted that Swami Prasad Maurya had resigned on Tuesday and was followed by Forest Minister Dara Singh Chauhan who quit Yogi’s cabinet on Wednesday. In between, few other MLAs, who are supporters of Swami, have distanced themselves from the party.
