Sidhu Left Mother In Distress, Claims Sister
Chandigarh, Jan 28: Punjab Congress President Navjot Singh Sidhu’s NRI sister Suman Tur alleged on Friday that Sidhu left his “depressed” mother years ago over a property dispute and that in 1989 she died in dire circumstances.
Interacting with the media, 70-year-old Tur denounced Sidhu’s claim that his parents were legally separated. She said that after Sidhu made such a claim, his mother had approached the court. Tur claimed that she tried contacting Sidhu before speaking to the media but he did not meet her and also blocked her number after she sent a message over the telephone.
In response, Sidhu’s wife Navjot Kaur said Suman was Sidhu’s step-sister and that he does not know her.
