Bhubaneswar, June 21: Minati Patnaik, the 63-year-old Lady of Odisha’s Cuttack City is again in news, but not for her philanthropy. On Tuesday she has officially joined the states’ ruling party, Biju Janata Dal (BJD).
Being influenced by the ideology of BJD supremo and Odisha CM Naveen Patnaik, she has joined the party, says Minati Patnaik.
Minati joined the conch party in the presence of Jajpur MLA and the party’s Organisational Secretary Pranab Prakash Das. Odisha-Mo Parivar-Jeevan Bindu Cuttack (City) Coordinator Ranjan Biswal was also present in the joining program.
It is to be noted that, on November 13, 2021, Minati had donated properties including her three-story house in Sutahat area of Cuttack City, gold ornaments and all other assets to a rickshaw puller Budha Samal.
