Guwahati-Bikaner Express derails in North Bengal
Domohani (West Bengal) Jan 13: The Guwahati-Bikaner Express jumped tracks on Thursday here in North Bengal.
Twelve coaches have been affected.
However, no casualties have been reported yet, a railway spokesperson said.
” DRM and ADRM rushed to the site along with accident relief train and medical van,” the spokesperson added.
The train was coming from Patna.
Darjeeling MP Raju Bista in a tweet said, “I am praying for the safety of all the passengers on Guwahati bound BKN-GHY Exp, which met with an accident near Domohani, Maynaguri in Jalpapiguri dist. ”
” Am in touch with the Railway officials. Rescue operation has been initiated & more rescuers are being sent to the accident site, ” he added.
