Auraiya(Uttar Pradesh), Jan 28: Upset over the behaviour of the groom, a bride here refused to marry him, leading to a ruckus at the wedding. The groom had thrown a garland during the varmala ceremony, infuriating the bride.
Following the incident, an argument broke out between the two families. People also tried to persuade the bride to marry, but she refused to change her mind.
The incident reportedly took place at Naveen Basti in Bidhuna Kotwali in the Auraiya district of Uttar Pradesh. People who were present at the spot were shocked at the bride’s decision.
While the groom’s family had gone out to eat when the incident took place. The groom, Akash, said he did not throw the garland but the bride was hard-rock to revert to her decision of not marrying the man in any way.
