Chattisgarh Housewife Proves Where There Will Is Will There Is Way: Under-Matriculate Mom Of IPS, IRS & Dy Collector Resumes Education At 60
Raipur, Mar 8: An under-matriculate mother who had studied till 8th standard could not take her own education even further, but was successful in giving her children a good education and getting them in a good position in the society.
This is the struggle story of Kaushalya Bansal, a housewife from Mahasamund, Chhattisgarh, who worked hard to educate her children. By suppressing her own dreams, she gave her the children strength to dream of a new future. which ultimately led to her children making their parents’ dreams come true.
By succeeding in UPSC and Chhattisgarh PSC exams, her children are now adorning the posts like IRS, IPS and Deputy Collector. Kaushalya, who took education till 8th standard in the initial phase, is now pursuing further studies herself at the age of 60.
This is the story of Kaushalya Bansal, a resident of Mahasamund. Kaushalya Bansal, a resident of Basna in Mahasamund district, was married in 1974 at the age of just 17. Then she was able to study only till the eighth standard. Because after the marriage of the elder sister of 5 brothers and 5 sisters, only Kaushalya was left to work in the house. She bore all the burden of household chores along with taking care of younger siblings. Meanwhile, she always had a passion for studies, but after marriage those dreams also remained dreams but she felt those dreams exhibit in a better future for her children.
When she herself became a mother, she was determined that she would not compromise in any way with the education of her children. Although she couldn’t teach her children in English she somehow managed to give them the best of it in hindi alongwith the complete support of her husband.
Kaushalya Bansal tells that, they have 3 sons and a daughter. After 3 years of their marriage, they had their eldest son, after 5 years the second, in 7 years the third son came. 9 years after the arrival of the younger son, the daughter was born in the house. Everyone worked hard, took the dreams of the parents as their own.
Kaushalya tells that her elder son Shravan Bansal is on the post of commissioner in GST Raipur. The middle son Manish Bansal handles the father’s business, the effect of good education was also shown in his business and today he is a successful businessman and is also providing employment to many people through his business.
Younger son Trilok Bansal is IPS, who is in the post of SP in Gaurela Pendra Marwahi. The youngest daughter is Sheetal Bansal, Deputy Collector, who is currently holding the post of SDM, Gariaband Chura.
After her children reached their destination, now the mother feels proud of herself. She says that there are very few parents who have children who fulfill their parents’ dreams. When all the children were settled, at the age of 60, she himself took the open examination of class X and also passed. She aspires to continue his studies further.
