Babusan-Prakruti Controversy: Actor Appears Before Police On his B’Day
Bhubaneswar, July 30: Coincidentally on World Friendship Day, and on his birth day, i.e, on July 30, Ollywood star Babushaan appears before Kharavela Nagar Police Station. After a week of the case filed by the actor’s wife- Trupti Satpathy, against the former over his alleged controversial friendship (relationship) with actress Prakruti Mishra, BabusanĀ appears before police for interrogation here on Saturday.
Accompanied by mother Aparajita Mohanty, close-knit friend and escorted by his dear-ones Babusan reached the Kharavela Nagar Police Station amid crowd and media-persons. while coming out of hisĀ mother’s residence to car to leave for the police station, the crowd outside wished him loudly for birth day and early closure of his family dispute.
Earlier in the day, the actor had made a public appearance and waved at his fans, who were eagerly waiting with flowers and bouquets to greet him on his birthday, at balcony of his house at Jagannath Vihar in Baramunda area.
Earlier this week, a team of Kharavela Nagar Police had interrogated Prakruti Mishra in connection with the case.
Sources said that his family and close aides are trying to sort out issues between Babushaan and wife Trupti, who has brought serious allegations against the actor and his co-actor Prakruti Mishra.
On the basis of the complaint, the Kharavela Nagar Police had registered a case under Sections 506 and 498(A) of the IPC against the popular cine star.
Recently, the actor had moved the Odisha High Court seeking an anticipatory bail in connection with the case.
