Bhubaneswar, Apr 26: It seems the Odisha Government is committed to promote, beautify and develop some of the centuries old Temples, Shrines and Place of Worship, keeping in view all of it’s religious, spiritual and ages-old sanctity and beliefs intact.
In a step forward with this mission, on Thursday, VK Pandian has directed the Jagatsingpur district administration to immediately prepare a master plan for development the Maa Sarala Temple. The Secretary to CM (5T) visited the Maa Sarala Temple in Jagatsinghpur and held a detailed discussion with the stakeholders over the issues pertaining to the development of the centuries old shrine.
He took a round of the temple premises and reviewed the facilities available and to be be furnished with for devotees. On this regard he held discussions over various issues with the temple servitors and district administration.

The famous Shakti Pitha (Goddess Sarala) of JS Pur is a centre of attraction for devotees from different parts of the country in all seasons through out the year. So CM Naveen Patnaik is keen to allocate immediate funds for the beautification and development of the shrine, said the 5T secretary.
