Moscow, Feb 26 : The only alternative to sanctions against Russia for its military operation in Ukraine would be to start a third world war, US President Joe Biden said Saturday. “You have two options. Start a third world war, go to war with Russia, basically. Or two, make sure that the country that acts so counter to international law ends up paying a price for having done it,” Biden said in an interview with Brian Cohen. Biden also noted that no sanctions are immediate and warned that Russia will pay a “serious price” for its actions in short term and especially in long term.
