US CDC Issues ‘Do Not Travel’ Warning To Canada
Washington, Jan 11: US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) has issued ‘Do Not Travel’ status to Canada.
The CDC on Monday has elevated its travel recommendation to “level four: very high” for Canada, urging Americans to avoid travel to Ottawa.
Amid the increasing number of Covid cases, the CDC has listed about 80 destinations worldwide at level 4.
Canada has long been a popular destinations for Americans but for most of the pandemic, the border between the two countries was closed to all non-essential travel, The Guardian reported.
In December, Canada had urged its citizens not to leave the country for non-essential travel.
