Kyiv, March 17: Ukrainian troops shelled two settlements in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR) in 15 minutes, firing fourteen 122-millimeter shells, the DPR representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of the ceasefire regime (JCCC) said in a statement.
The settlements of Krasny Partizan and Yasinovataya were subjected to shelling. Six shells were fired at the village of Krasny Partizan, and eight at Yasinovataya. Russia launched a special military operation in Ukraine on February 24 in response to calls from the Donetsk and Luhansk people’s republics for protection against intensifying attacks by Ukrainian troops.
