Ukraine Army Analysing Situation In East Ukraine: Prez
Kyiv, Feb 19: Ukrainian military and security forces are fully in control of the situation in the east of the country, the press service of the office of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Saturday.
The authorities of the self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republic started the evacuation of civilians to Russia on Friday, fearing military aggression by the Ukrainian government.
“The situation on the line of contact in Donbas, in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea and near the borders of Ukraine is being analyzed by the country’s intelligence services. Ongoing analysis of intelligence data and the exchange of information with partners are routinely carried out. Ukraine regularly receives additional relevant intelligence data on the activity of the Russian forces. The situation in the east of the country is fully controlled by the Ukrainian security and defense forces,” the office wrote on its Telegram channel.
