PTI Leader Snaps At Journos
Islamabad, April 6: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry on Wednesday had a heated argument with journalists during a press conference outside the Supreme Court.
During a press conference with PTI members Asad Umar, Shahbaz Gill and Ali Muhammad Khan, the former information minister was asked to comment on reports alleging that Farah Khan, a close friend of Imran Khan’s wife Bushra Bibi, was involved in corrupt activities and had recently fled the country along with her husband.
Lashing out at the journalist, Fawad claimed that the journalist was a “hired phoney” and that he knew where the reporter acquired his “bribe” from. The leader also began hurling abuses at the reporter.

Enraged by Fawad’s actions, all journalists present at the conference demanded an apology from him. Continuous derogatory remarks and refusal to offer an apology by the former minister ended up in the journalists boycotting the media talks of all PTI leaders.
Earlier this week, Farah Khan left for Dubai following the dissolution of the National Assembly in the wake of the no-trust move against Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Citing sources in the PTI, Express Tribune reported that Farah left for Dubai on Sunday, adding that her husband also resides in the Emirati state.
