Political Crisis In Pakistan Deepens, Supreme Court To Hear Case Against Imran Khan Today

Politics in Pakistan is on the boil. Pakistan Prime minister, Imran Khan’s worries are far from over, The dismissal of the No-confidence motion in the National Assembly(NA) never been able to give the respite Khan was looking for. A kind of Damocles’ sword still hangs over the Pakistani PM’s head as the United Opposition has already sought the legal recourse to bring back the motion.

Taking to his twitter handle Pakistan People’s  Party leader Dilawal Bhutto has openly alleged that the Prime Mnister has tried to influence the house and the Deputy Speaker of the NA, has overstepped his constitutional authority to dismiss the No-Trust motion today.

Bhutto in a video message has mentioned about taking the matter before the  Supreme Court urging the latter  to prevail upon and allow the No-confidence motion to be effected.

Meanwhile, the SC of Pakistan, taking cognizance of the appeal has already said that the hearing will be done today.

Bilawal Bhutto has appealed the people of Pakistan to stand against, “corrupt, illegal, a liar Imran sahab and undemocratic move of the Deputy Speaker of Pak National Assembly over the dismissal of the No-trust Vote”.

Outrightly he alleges the Deputy-speaker & PM Imran’s act as undemocratic, unconstitutional and illegal. According to him Imran should anyhow face the no-confidence motion in Parliament, once accepted. He also alleges Imran is unrighteous to dissolve the assemblies by Presidential Announcement. So the United Opposition has decided to stage demonstration in the parliament till the PM face the no-confidence motion, with it’s due process.

Bilawal also told in the video clip to take all required legal help against this unconstitutional act of PM, Speaker & the Deputy-speaker. Even the opposition can move no-trust vote against the deputy speaker. Meanwhile the attorney and deputy attorney Gen of Pak has resigned.

However, now all eyes would be on the verdict of the Pakistan’s Apex court.
