PM Modi Welcomed By Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed In Abu Dhabi
Abu Dhabi/New Delhi, June 28: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday arrived in Abu Dhabi for a short visit, and in a special gesture was received at the airport by UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
The Prime Minister in a tweet said he is touched “by the special gesture of my brother” Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan of coming to receive him at Abu Dhabi airport.
The PM said in a tweet:

The MEA spokesperson tweeted:
“In a special gesture, UAE President and Ruler of Abu Dhabi Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, accompanied by senior members of the Royal Family, was at Abu Dhabi airport for the interaction with PM.”

The PM will pay his personal condolences on the passing away of Sheikh Khalifa, the former UAE President and Abu Dhabi Ruler.
PM Modi will also take the opportunity to congratulate Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan on his election as the new President of UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi.
This is the first meeting between the two leaders since Mohamed bin Zayed’s election as the new ruler of Abu Dhabi.
