Pakistan PM On 4 Day Visit To China
Islamabad, Feb 3: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has left for China on Thursday to attend 2022 Winter Olympics’ opening ceremony in Beijing, the media reported.
The PM is on a four day visit along with Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi, Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin, Planning Minister Asad Umar, Information Minister Chaudhry Fawad Hussain, National Security Adviser Moeed Yousaf, Commerce Adviser Abdul Razak Dawood and Special Assistant on China Pakistan Economic Corridor Khalid Mansoor.
The PM will also meet Chinese President Xi Jinping and Premier Li Keqiang besides attending the Winter Olympics. FM Qureshi said PM Khan’s meeting with the Chinese leadership would focus on bilateral strategic partnership, regional matters, and peace and security in South Asia, Geo News reported.
