Brussels, June 28: NATO General Secretary Jens Stoltenberg on Tuesday talked with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and reassured him support amid the ongoing conflict with Russia.
Stoltenberg tweeted: ‘Spoke with President Zelensky on Russia’s war of aggression.”
He said that NATO will step up support for its ‘close partner Ukraine, now and for the longer term’ at its summit.
He added, ‘NATO Allies stand with you (Zelenskyy).
The ongoing conflict between the two nations began when Russia launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine on February 24.
