Bhubaneswar, Nov 13 : In a very unfortunate incident a wife died and her husband admitted to hospital with critical injuries after a car ran over them near the Linagaraj temple in old town area here.
Sources here said the couple from Digapahandi area of Ganjam district were here to perform Sharda ritual on Diwali on Sunday when the incident occurred.
As per the report while the wife died on the spot, the husband was admitted to hospital with critical injuries.
After the accident the car driver and other occupants of the car fled from the spot. Police have seized the car and inquiring into the incident.
