Dubai, Jan 17: The Abu Dhabi police announced that a fire broke out on Monday morning in the Musaffah area, leading to the explosion of three oil tanks of Abu Dhabi National Oil Company nearby, media reported on Monday.
A small fire also broke out at the construction area of the Abu Dhabi International Airport, causing little damage, the police said.
Initial investigations show the fires and explosion were possibly caused by drone attacks in the area.
