Delights in gesture: Sheikh Hasina gifts mangoes to Prez Kovind, PM Modi

Dhaka, June 18 : Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has gifted mangoes to President Ram Nath Kovind and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

On Friday, the Bangladesh High Commission delivered 1,200 kg of Amrapali mangoes to Delhi.

Last year, Hasina gifted mangoes to President, PM, Chief Minister of West Bengal, Tripura and Assam.

In several of her visits, she had also gifted hilsa for her Indian hosts.

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina’s ‘Mango and Hilsa diplomacy’ has further strengthened the friendship between two countries.
