Antigua & Barbuda Becomes 102nd Member Of International Solar Alliance

New Delhi, Jan 5: The Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda has joined the International Solar Alliance, becoming the 102nd country to join the India-led global green energy initiative.

The Prime Minister of Antigua and Barbuda Gaston Browne signed the framework agreement of the ISA on Tuesday in the presence of Indian High Commissioner K J Srinivasa, who is High Commissioner to Guyana, Antigua & Barbuda, St.Kitts & Nevis, CARICOM (a 15-member Caribbean community).

The Indian High Commission in Georgetown, Guyana, tweeted the news, saying it makes Antigua & Barbuda the 102nd country to join ISA- “to catalyze global energy transition through a solar-led approach”.
