12 Paki Prisoners Repatriated Via Attari-Wagah: MEA
New Delhi, Feb 17: Twelve Pakistani prisoners who have completed their sentences were repatriated to Pakistan via the Attari-Wagah land border on Thursday, the Ministry of External Affairs said.
It also said that the Government of India attaches the highest importance to addressing all humanitarian matters, including the early release and repatriation of Pakistani prisoners and fishermen. Through the Government’s persistent efforts, they have succeeded in the release and repatriation of 20 Indian fishermen from Pakistan’s custody in 2022 so far, the MEA added.
