The Enormous Yet Innocent Preys
Keonjhar(Odisha), Aug 25: Yet another painful and unfortunate incident. Two female elephants died after they came in contact with live electric power line on the premises of Krishi Vigyan Kendra under Sadar range in Keonjhar on Wednesday evening.
As per Govt. by-law, the district forest department officials reached the spot on Thursday morning and have launched an inquiry into the incident.
Reportedly, the farmhouse of the Krishi Vigyan Kendra is full of vegetation due to the rainy season. Wild elephants used to come to the farmhouse to feed them with voluptuous green. A herd had come to the farmhouse last night.
