Cop Who Played The Samaritan Role To Save Youths From The Grip of Death

It was like a clip from the film, a scene depicting the selfless daredevilry of a police officer who saved two lives but risking his own.

Traffic police head constable Pankaj Pandey in Uttar Pradesh, is no less than a real Samaritan by what he did.

It was a shocking incident when two youths on a bike lost control and fell into the Pakri canal in Lucknow.

The water flow in the canal was dangerously speedy and the water depth was at a beaming state. The two youths fell into it and were struggling to save themselves from being swept away.

Suddenly the traffic police head constable Pankaj Pandey noticed that and lost no time, jumped into the canal to save the lives of the youths.

It was Pandey alone inside the water dragging out the panicked duo was no mere task. However, some passersby came to help the rescue act and saw Pandey with his uniforms on, was pushing up both the youths on that slippery canal walls.

Ultimately, Pankaj Pandey’s efforts brought the results and two lives were saved.

The video of the entire incident recorded by a by-stander has gone viral.

And Pankaj Pandey was heaped with tons of praises for his bravery which saved the two youths.
