Odisha: DMF to sponsor five engineering students for higher study in Australia

Bhubaneswar, Sep 5 : The District Mineral Foundation (DMF) will bear all expenses of five Mining Engineering students to pursue their higher study in Australia.

The DMF, official sources here said, will bear their study, boarding and transport.

An MoU in this regard has been signed between the Keonjhar district administration and West Australian School of Mines with an objective to create an educational atmosphere and to strengthen the youths.

The five students who have passed B Tech from government Engineering College, Keonjhar
will pursue their higher education in West Australian school of Mines ,Mineral, Energy, and Chemical Engineering under the world famous Curtin University

The main objective of the district administration is to provide world class education to the students and to nurture their talents by imparting them modern technology in the mining and engineering sector, deploy them in future for the development of their own area and to give them an opportunity to take the lead.

The students on Tuesday called on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik at his residence.

Patnaik wished them for their new journey and advised them to labour hard and achieve their goal.
