Nahan, Feb 11: An NDPS case accused and Covid positive person is absconding from the custody of Paonta Sahib police under Sirmaur district of Himachal Pradesh, police officer confirmed.
The Accused was arrested on February 7 along with two other accused from Haryana with 22 grams of smack and 60 grams of opium was hospitalisd at Civil Hospital Poanta-Shaib on February 9 where he was also tested positive for Covid-19.
He gave a slip to security and police guards during his treatment but still at large for the past three days. Police team has started a search in Paonta and surrounding areas to nab him. Information being shared by the police with neighboring states.
