Ajab Jab: Elderly Dispel Fears, Bihar Man Takes 11 Doses Of Vaccine
Patna: In a very strange case of vaccination in Bihar, an elderly person identified as Brahma Dev Mandal who is 84 years old has claimed to have taken the vaccine 11 times. Mandal a resident of Udakishunganj in Madhepura, has said that he started getting relief in other diseases by taking the vaccine, after which he has taken 11 doses of the vaccine.
Record of all doses
According to the claim made by Brahma Dev Mandal about taking the vaccine, he took the corona vaccine for the first time on 13 February 2021. He took this dose in PHSC of Puraini. After this, he took the vaccine for the second time on 13th March at the same PHC, then the third dose he took on 19th May at Orai Sub Health Center. The fourth dose was taken during Bhupendra Bhagat’s camp in Kota. After this, the fifth dose was taken in the camp in a school and the sixth dose was taken in the camp in Nath Baba on 31st August. The seventh dose was taken on September 11 at Badi Haat school, the eighth dose was also taken at the same school on September 22, while the ninth dose was taken on September 24 and the tenth dose was taken at Parbatta in Khagaria district. After this, he got the 11th dose done in Kahalgaon, Bhagalpur.

- Second dose: March 13, at the old PHC again
- Third dose: May 19, at the Aurai sub-healthcare centre
- Fourth dose: June 16, at a camp
- Fifth dose: July 24, at the Badi Haat School camp
- Sixth dose: August 31, at the Nathbaba camp
- Seventh dose: September 11, at the Badi Haat School camp again
- Eighth dose: September 22, at the Badi Haat School,
- Ninth dose: September 24, at a health sub-centre in Kalasan
- Tenth dose: Parvatta in Khagaria district
- Eleventh dose: at Kahalgaon in Bhagalpur
Madhepura district Civil Surgeon Amarendra Pratap Shahi said that an inquiry will be launched to probe how Mandal had managed to evade the authorities so many times. He has sought detailed reports from the officials of the PHCs and camps
