Diablo Immortal Arriving On Android, IOS And PC On June 2
New Delhi, May 1 : Diablo Immortal has long been in the news, but its development has taken a turn for the better as Activision Blizzard has announced that the game will now be on Android and iOS on June 2. Furthermore, the game is also coming on PC with a free to play open BETA on the same date. According to the developers, Diablo Immortal is a free to play MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer online role-playing game) and will have cross-play and cross-progression with controller and keyboard support on PC. Set between Diablo II: Lord of Destruction and Diablo III, players have to find all the Fragments of the Worldstone — the pieces remaining after the stone was shattered by Tyrael and scattered all over the Sanctuary. Diablo Immortal will keep some classic fan-favorite characters like Barbarian, Wizard, and Necromancer, as well as the idea of sets of weapons and armour and some unique items. Looting will also offer further customization of the character. The game will be online-only, and, according to the development team, it will introduce new characters, storylines, and additional content as part of a “living, breathing, and constantly evolving experience.” Blizzard has been on a development overdrive concerning several highly expected but delayed titles with the information regarding them being updated further, whether it be the mobile version of World of Warcraft, Overwatch 2, an untitled survival game currently in the making or Diablo 4 which is undergoing testing as of now ever since its announcement three years ago.
