Redmi is getting ready to introduce the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition, a new smartphone in the Note 12 series. The upcoming lineup will consist of three devices — the Redmi K60, Redmi 60 Pro and Redmi K60E which will deb at an event in China on December 27. Now, the company has shared another Weibo post to confirm the launch of another handset which will also launch at the same event.
Redmi is set to expand the Note 12 series in its domestic ountry with the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition variant.
REDMI NOTE 12 PRO SPEED EDITION LAUNCH IMMINENT: The Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition will launch in China on December 27, according to a Weibo post. Likewise, the Note 12 Pro Ultra will make its debut during the Redmi K60 December 27 launch event.
The Weibo post has the phrase “More surprise, releasing in the event!.” This is a major sign that more devices will break cover at the impending event.
The Speed Edition features a squarish area on the back with the Redmi branding. Also, the post confirms it will be available in a Green color option.
The frame has flat corners and the rear panel houses a triple rear camera cutout. Past leaks suggest the Speed Edition will feature a 6.7-inch OLED display with a 120Hz rapid refresh rate.
Moreover, the handset will reportedly ship with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. It will boot Android 13 with MIUI 14 on top.
