Taiwanese computer company GIGABYTE on Tuesday launched the new G5 series gaming laptops equipped with Intel 12th Gen CPU in India.
The new laptops are powered by the Intel 12th Gen processors. The laptops will be offered in three models: Gigabyte G5 KE, Gigabyte G5 ME, and Gigabyte G5 GE.
The Gigabyte G5 series laptops flaunt a 15.6-inch FHD LCD display with 1920×1080 pixel resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it is powered by the 12th Gen Intel i5-12500H CPU with 12 cores, 16 threads, and a maximum clock speed of 4.5GHz. The chipset is paired with Nvidia RTX 30 series GPUs and 16GB DDR4 RAM.
The Gigabyte G5 KE model comes with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060, while the G5 ME, and the G5 GE equips the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Ti and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 GPUs, respectively. It also includes the MUX switch functionality in the G5 KE laptop, which allows customers to bypass the integrated graphics and connect the display straight to the discrete GPU with a single click.
Moreover, there is a WINDFORCE cooling technology, which regulates the temperature of the laptops throughout long gaming sessions. It also includes 59-blade twin fans, five heat pipes, and four exhaust vents to disperse heat from the laptop. The laptops weigh under 1.9 kg, which is fairly lightweight for a gaming laptop. It also has Thunderbolt 4 ports that offer up to 40Gbps transmission speed.

Starting at Rs 77,887, the laptops will be available in online and offline retail stores across the country. It includes a 2-year carry-in warranty and Microsoft Office 365.
