Puri, Dec.4 : Odisha police has registered a criminal case against a YouTuber for allegedly violating the no-flying-zone restrictions over the Jagannath temple. and posting its picture captured by a drone camera.
It was alleged that an unidentified drone was taking aerial pictures of the iconic temple.

The police inquired into the incident and found that one Animesh Chakrabarti of Guma, Amdanga, North 24 Parganas, West Bengal had posted the picture.

A case has been registered and a notice under section 160 of the Code of Criminal Procedure issued to Chakraborty to appear at the Simhadwar police station for further investigation.

In an interesting development, Chakrabarty deleted the temple visuals from his YouTube channel and tendered an apology for violating the norms of no flying zone over the temple.

Chakrabarty had stated that he was unaware of such restrictions.
