To this date the country knew Lalu Prasad Yadav as a fire-brand politician and the former chief minister of Bihar. But at this moment the theme of this write-up remains miles from the politics of the country.
It is tale of so different nature which is made of emotion, love and sacrifice which cements the relationship between a father and a daughter. Lalu Prasad’s daughter, Rohini Acharya today defines the gravity and virtue of that relation and made history in a world self possessions.
Lalu was suffering from a critical kidney ailment and got both his kidneys damaged and was thriving on just 28% of their functioning dragging his health to a state of terminal phase. So, kidney transplant was the only way out to keep the 72 year old Lalu Prasad surviving.
His second daughter, Rohini Acharya, 43 years old, and a doctor by profession, decided to spare one of her kidneys for her father. Knowing well that, half of her life she has to survive with one kidney.
But for Rohini, nothing was more precious than her father who made her walk holding her fingers and doused her with love from cradle to a girl and a daughter who has emerged as an example for the world that, daughters are so precious that they never ever leave the fingers of the parents.
Nothing is more precious than the family and the parents are always weigh at par with the God. Who else could demonstrate that unfathomable ideal and sacrifice which Rohini proved.
Transplant was successful and both the recipient and the donor are well. No politics this. Even the rival political leaders got melted by the deeds of Rohini ” Beti ho to aisi ho” the words came from the senior BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh.
