Thane, Feb 19: Renowned senior social activist and industrialist Sunil Patodia passed away on Friday in Mumbai, it was reported on Saturday.
He was 53 years old. Patodia, who was the District Governor of Lions Club International, was a well-known Chartered Accountant (CA) and was associated with many socio-educational-cultural-religious organizations and creative activities.
International Marwari Foundation President Summan R Agrawal, while expressing deep condolences on the death of Sunil Patodia, paid heartfelt tributes to him and said that due to his death, not only Mumbai-Thane and Maharashtra, but in the entire Rajasthani community, a deep void has been created which cannot be filled. He was the Real Diamond of the society. He gave wings to his entrepreneurial dreams by starting S K Patodia & Associates in the year 1992 and since then there has been no looking back.
He also played an important role in various responsible positions in the CA organization. The industry group established by him also includes Byke Group of Hotels, Choice International Limited etc.
He was the Director of Mumbai Vaish Seva Sansthan and Trustee of RVG Educational Federation. Several other social and industrial organisations have also condoled the death of Pathodia.
