Sometimes, some gestures from one among us become a cause for change of fate for many.
Here is a young man in Kandhamal district, Effu Mallik, whose story is really inspiring. Born to a family in need, Iffu Mallik,of Bagramila village, cleared the exams of the NIIT and took admission in the Laxman Nayak Medical college.
His problem were the woes of the family and the persistent financial crises. So Iffu had decided to become a MBBS and support his family.
The enormity of his resolution often forced him to take to do daily wages to support his studies.
Somehow, the news reached at the top and the chief minister volunteered to support Effu in his studies and it so happened that, Iffu was lucky to meet the chief minister Naveen Patnaik who assured him all the support for his medical courses.
The member of the Parliament of Kandhamal, Dr Achyut Samanta, the KIIT and KISS founder not only expressed his gratitude towards the magnanimity shown by the CM but, stating that, this shows that the CM really means Odisha people as his family.
Simultaneously, Dr Samant also played a big role for Iffu’s family. He assured Iffu that KIIT would bear all his expenses post his medical completion and also offered to get his two brothers engaged with jobs in KISS which would bolster the family psyche and help Iffu to go ahead.
