Ban On Weapons During Holi: Dist Magistrate

Hamirpur (HP), Feb 19: The District Magistrate, Hamirpur, Debasweta Banik has imposed a complete ban on carrying arms and ammunition during the National level Holi festival at Sujanpur tira of the district from March 15 to 18.

However, this restriction will not apply to the police, home guards, and other officers and employees posted on mela duty.

A spokesman of the district administration said Saturday the preparations had been started for the national level Holi festival to be organized in Sujanpur from March 15 to 18. For the smooth conduct of the festival, District Magistrate has issued an order and appointed Sujanpur SDM Harish Gajju as the fair officer.
