‘The Book of Boba Fett’ New Poster Focus On The Mandolorian
Los Angeles, Feb 1: “The Book of Boba Fett” was supposed to act as The Godfather of the Star Wars universe with the plot focusing on Boba taking over Jabba the Hutt’s empire and cementing his place as the new crime lord of Tatooine. With all that, Episode 5 of “The Book of Boba Fett” is noteworthy for various reasons, though the biggest and most obvious one may be its complete lack of Boba Fett and instead seeing the return Din Djarin, the protagonist of “The Mandolorian” series.
An extremely curious strategy by the showmakers is zero focus on Boba Fett and no progress of the bounty hunter’s story or the current crime lord narrative. The episode gave centrestage to Djarin, as Star Wars tweeted three new posters. One of Djarin carrying his laser pistol and the sacred Mandolorian Dark Saber, which he won in the last season; ne of Tatooine engineer Peli Motto and her two droids; and one of The Armorer wielding her tools in a fighting stance.
The episode itself has received mixed reviews with one section praising it for the return of Djarin and expanding his storyline, the other criticized it for shifting its focus away from Fett arguing that while the episode in itself marks a very good backdoor pilot for the third season of “The Mandolorian”, it has little connection to “The Book of Boba Fett” except at the end. “The Book of Boba Fett” sees the return of Temuera Morrison as the iconic silent killer as he reprises the role of the fan-favorite space bounty hunter role off Boba Fett. The series is executive produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni and stars Temura Morrison, Ming-Na Wen, Matt Berry, Jennifer Beals among others.
