Superstar Singer 2: ‘Want you to playback for Ananya’, says Chunky Panday to Aryananda
New Delhi, June 4 : Little prodigies of Sony TV’s homegrown kids singing reality show, ‘Superstar Singer 2’ has won the hearts of not just the judges – Alka Yagnik, Javed Ali and Himesh Reshammiya, and captains – Pawandeep Rajan, Arunita Kanjilal, Mohd Danish, Sayli Kamble and Salman Ali, but also of millions of viewers out there with their extraordinary voice and innocence.
Of the many contestants, 14-year-old Aryananda Babu has impressed one and all with her sweet and simple personality. Her mature take on music was something that everyone took note of right from her audition round. And, one again with her magical voice, she will charm her way into the hearts of the special guests – Govinda and Chunky Panday, this Sunday.
‘Superstar Singer 2’ contestant, Aryananda along with her Captain Mohd Danish will give a mesmerizing performance on the song ‘Pyaar Kiya hai’ and ‘Mein Toh Raste Ja Raha Tha’, which will leave everyone in awe, and earned her a standing ovation. Extremely impressed by her voice, actor and special guest Chunky Panday will be seen filming the performance on his phone to show his daughter.
Chunky compliments her saying, “I am so sure that when the show ends, within two or three months you are going to become a playback singer and I have full faith in it. My only wish is that one day, I want you to playback for my daughter Ananya. The only reason I took this video is because I want to show it to her as she need to listen to it to believe this level of singing and how you can sing like this for her. It will be an amazing combination as you and Ananya both are young. Superb! God bless you.”
Adding to it, judge Javed Ali shares, “I would like to say something different about Aryananda. Aryananda’s voice feels like an instrument to me because when you play a tune on an instrument, it plays accurately, there is never a doubt that the instrument would make a mistake. I visualise an instrument in your voice. It is like a double edge sword. You sing effortlessly and with an edge. The most special thing is that you don’t change your expression when you sing different notes. You are such a big artist, and you don’t know that yourself. This song was not in your range, but still, you sang it with finesse. All three songs were melodious.”
Blown away by her performance, Govinda couldn’t contain his excitement as he will go on stage to present Aryananda with his Raja Babu Topi as a token of appreciation.
