‘Star Wars: The Bad Batch’ S2 Trailer Out
Los Angeles, May 30: Star Wars’s rebellious clone squadron ‘Clone Force 99’ are back as a new Season 2 trailer for “Star Wars: The Bad Batch” has dropped.
The trailer and release window news was revealed at Star Wars Celebration 2022 on Sunday as it teased some new information.
Apparently some time has passed since the first season and the Bad Batch soldiers have grown older and are now sporting some new gear as clone troopers are now being increasingly replaced more and more by humans.
We also get glimpses of Emperor Palpatine, Commander Cody and Wookie Jedi Padawan Gungi.
The new trailer was unveiled at the Star Wars Celebration, Anaheim, California. The animated series comes out this fall right after “Andor” which will release at the end of August.
The Bad Batch stars Dee Bradley Baker, who reprises his role as most of the clones, as well as Michelle Ang, Omega, a child female clone and the replacement for Crosshair who sided with the Empire.
The series is created by Dave Filoni and developed by Filoni and Jennifer Corbett, who also writes for the show.
The Bad Batch is among the series of new projects announced by LucasFilms, others being “Mandalorain” season 3, “Andor”, “Visions”, “Jedi Survivor” and “Skeleton Crew” among others, with the latest addition being “Obi Wan Kenobi” which was streamed on Disney+ on May 27.
