Mumbai/Chennai, April 5 : The upcoming Tamil action film “Beast” has been a subject of much hype in India, particularly with the current trends as the film scene in the South seems to be generating more viewership than Bollywood these days. The trailer has already garnered a great deal of positive reception and more views keep pouring in. Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan took to his Twitter handle and gave a shoutout to the Thalapathy Vijay starrer while posting the film’s Hindi trailer (the Hindi version of the film is called “Raw”). The actor mentioned that he is sitting with director Atlee who is also a big fan of the Vijay. He wrote: “Sitting with @Atlee_dir who is as big a fan of @actorvijay as I am.
“Wishing the best for beast to the whole team…trailer looks meaner…. Leaner… stronger!! “ SRK is currently working with Atlee on a project while sharing the screen with Nayanthara. It has been speculated that Vijay might make a cameo appearance in Atlee’s film with SRK, given the actor has collaborated with the director on “Bigil” and “Mersal”. According to reports, Kuwait has banned the release of ‘Beast’. The film is a hostage thriller and could have scenes that talk about Islamic terrorism. The Nelson Dilipkumar dark-comedy apart from Vijay, also stars Pooja Hegde in the lead with Selvaraghavan, Redin Kingsley, Bjorn Surrao, VTV Ganesh, Aparna Das, and Shine Tom Chacko playing pivotal roles and will hit the big screen on April 13.
