Simon Leviev or Tinder Swindler To Make Hollywood Debut
Los Angeles, Feb 17 : “Tinder Swindler” or Simon Leviev (Shimon Hayut) has now set his sights on Hollywood. The Israeli conman had set up an elaborate scamming operation under the guise of several aliases including Simon Leviev, and fooled several women via Tinder into thinking he was the son of a billionaire diamond merchant before robbing them of an estimated 7.4 million pound. A crime documentary of his operations released on Netflix called “Tinder Swindler” in which his victims have shared their stories have skyrocketed the conman’s fame to new heights.
Sources close to the conman say he now wants to write a book, host a dating podcast and has even pitched a controversial new TV show, which would see women competing for his love. Helping him to foray inside the entertainment industry will be former pornographic-film actress Gina Rodriguez, the CEO of talent management company Gitoni Inc. Rodriguez said “I was intrigued with the Netflix story. I saw the world’s greatest salesman,” Rodriguez told ET. “It left me with a lot of unanswered questions and was very biased. I believe there are two sides to every story and everyone should have the chance to tell their side of the story.” The pair have purportedly discussed “a bunch of plans to parlay Leviev’s new Netflix fame into profit and an entertainment career”.
