‘Sam Bahadur’: Sanya Malhotra Excited To Work With Fatima Sana Shaikh, The ‘Dangal’ Co-star
New Delhi, Jan 4: After impressing one and all with their crackling chemistry and power-packed performances in Aamir Khan starrer “Dangal”, Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Shaikh are all set to enthrall their fans once again as they reunite for Megha Gulzar’s “Sam Bahadur”.
Sharing her excitement, Sanya stated that first co-stars are always special. According to her, ‘Dangal’ has completed five glorious years and their upcoming film together is a reminder that life has come a long way. The actress added that she is very happy for both of them and super excited to work with Fatima once again.
Sanya will be seen playing the protagonist’s wife Sillo Bode in the film. Speaking about what exactly attracted her to this film, the actress added that the character of Sillo spoke to her on many levels. She also went on to say that the film is special because she is going to be working with Meghna which is a dream come true for her.
The titular role of Field Marshal Sam Manekshaw will be played by Vicky Kaushal. His first look from the film had impressed one and all.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sanya will be seen sharing the screen space with Rajkummar Rao in ‘HIT: The First Case.’ The mystery thriller is the remake of the 2020 Telugu hit of the same.
