New Delhi, Aug 6 : Zee TV is all set to launch Season 9 of its popular reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs”.
A nationwide hunt to find the next Little Champion is going to begin through its online and offline auditions starting Saturday in Kolkata. The online auditions have also already begun.
Shankar Mahadevan has been roped as the first judge of the season. He will be mentoring and grooming young singers across India to help them create a name of themselves.
“I am excited to be a part of this iconic singing reality show. This is the first time I will be judging Sa Re Ga Ma Pa L’il Champs, and I am really looking forward to it.
“I am eager to nurture these young kids into stars of tomorrow. I have seen how this show has been a launch platform for several young talents over the years and I honestly think that giving them a chance to showcase their talent is really important,” Mahadevan said in a statement.
“Starting from an early age will really help the kids learn, grow and make a mark in the music industry quite early on. As music composers, we are always looking out for new talent and fresh voices, and this is truly the best place to find hidden gems.
“Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs is one of the best platforms for budding talent and I am looking forward to witnessing some mesmerising acts,” said the celebarted singer-composer who has given many hits over the last decades.
In the coming weeks, Zee TV will also conduct offline auditions in Delhi, Mumbai, Dehradun, Bengaluru, Lucknow, Nagpur, Indore, Jaipur, and Chandigarh.
Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Li’l Champs Season 9 will premiere soon on Zee TV.
