Rhea Chakraborty Resumes Work After 2 Years
Mumbai, Feb 12: Actor Rhea Chakraborty resumed work after two years and thanked all those who stood by her during a difficult time following the death of Sushant Singh Rajput, whom she was dating, and was accused to have been involved in his death.
Taking to Instagram, Rhea on Saturday posted a reel wherein she could be seen recording for her upcoming project. Donning a black pantsuit, Rhea was seen enjoying her work. Sharing the reel, she said: “Yesterday, I went to work after 2 years. A big thankyou to all the people who stood by me through my toughest times.” “No matter what, the sun always shines. Never give up,” she said adding sun emoji.
Her BFF, Shibani Dandekar who will soon tie the knot with filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, said: “Yasssss girl get it” with red heart emoji.
Mallika Dua dropped a strong arm emoji in the comments section. “So proud of you. You are the strongest.” and “You go girl” were some of the messages dropped by netizens wishing Rhea all the best for her upcoming project.
Rhea was last seen in 2021 in Rummy Jafry’s “Chehre”. It also starred actors Emran Hashmi, Amitabh Bachchan, Siddhanth Kapoor, Raghubir Yadav and Annu Kapoor.
The “MS Dhoni” fame actor was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in Bandra on June 14, 2020. His death opened a can of worms. Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Enforcement Directorate (ED) and Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) investigations were launched simultaneously as Sushant was discovered dead under mysterious circumstances, with friends and family launching various allegations. In September 2020, Rhea and her brother Showik Chakraborty were arrested. Rhea spent a month in Byculla Jail, Showik three months in Arthur Road jail.
