Neetu Kapoor Pens Emotional To Husband Rishi Kapoor’ Your Wishes Are Fulfilled’
Mumbai, April 15 : With the high-profile wedding celebrations of son Ranbir Kapoor with Alia Bhatt over, attended by their friends and family, Neetu Kapoor penned an emotional note to her late husband actor Rishi Kapoor. In an Instagram post Neetu Kapoor wrote: “This is dedicated to kapoor Saab (red heart emoji). your wish has been fulfilled,” she wrote alongside a picture of herself and Ranbir from the latter’s wedding day, adding an evil eye amulet emoji and a heart-eyed emoji. She had also included Rishi Kapoor in their son’s wedding by getting his name in her mehendi. Immediately following the wedding, there has been a torrent of wedding photos both prior to celebrations and its aftermath circulating online, with tiniest details of the wardrobe being highlighted. Tying the knot on the Kapoor’s Vastu residence in Bandra, the wedding was attended by Neetu Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, Soni Razdan, Shaheen Bhatt, Ayan Mukerji, Mahesh Bhatt, Pooja Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Karisma Kapoor, Karan Johar, Navya Naveli Nanda, Shloka Ambani and Akash Ambani among others. Alia Bhatt had shared photos on her Instagram of the wedding, and wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favourite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married. With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia.” Going back to 2017, Ranbir and Alia started dating five years back when the two collaborated on Ayan Mukerji’s film ‘Brahmastra’, which is scheduled for a release in September this year. Ranbir had later said that the couple were planning on tying the knot in 2020 but the wedding was postponed due to the COVID-19. It was later shared by filmmaker Subash Ghai that Rishi Kapoor was looking forward to Ranbir’s wedding to Alia Bhatt in December 2020. However, the actor died due to cancer in April that year.
