Mr And Mrs Kapoor: Alia Shares Pics Of Wedding With Ranbir
Mumbai, April 14 : Soon after they became man and wife, Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt took to social media to express her happiness over walking the aisle with her ‘Mr Right’ Ranbir Kapoor, sharing the happy pictures on Instagram. Earlier in the day, the most-awaited wedding of one of the cutest couples of Bollywood solemnised at their love nest ‘Vaastu’ in Bandra’s Pali Hills here, amid a galaxy of stars from Bollywood. Sharing the pics, Alia wrote, “Today, surrounded by our family and friends, at home … in our favorite spot – the balcony we’ve spent the last 5 years of our relationship – we got married.” The marriage was a private affair with very limited guests, comprising close friends and family members. Alia captioning them as, “With so much already behind us, we can’t wait to build more memories together … memories that are full of love, laughter, comfortable silences, movie nights, silly fights, wine delights and Chinese bites. “Thank you for all the love and light during this very momentous time in our lives. It has made this moment all the more special. Love, Ranbir and Alia,” she added. Alia looked gorgeous donning an ivory organza sari embroidered with fine tilla work and an embroidered handwoven tissue veil by Bollywood’s favourite wedding designer, Sabyasachi Mukherjee. Adding to her beauty was the jewellery featuring uncut diamonds and hand strung pearls. Ranbir’s attire featured a embroidered silk sherwani – with uncut diamond buttons – a matching white organza saafa with a stone-studded accessory on it, and a shawl with zari marori embroidery. The couple was styled by Alia’s long-time stylist, Ami Patel. As per a leading daily, the Groom side included Ranbir’s mother Neetu Kapoor, his sister Riddhima Kapoor, cousins Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan, Kareena’s husband Saif Ali Khan, his friends Shloka Ambani, Aakash Ambani and Karan Johar, among others. The Bride side included Alia’s father Mahesh Bhatt, mother Soni Razdan, brother Rahul Bhatt, sisters Pooja and Shaheen Bhatt, and her bestie Akansha Ranjan. The wedding festivities started on Wednesday with a Ganesh Puja at Vaastu, exactly 43 years after Neetu Kapoor tied the know with charming legendary actor Rishi Kapoor, who passed away in 2020.
