Mumbai, Feb 14 : Actor R Madhavan’s much-awaited directorial “Rocketry: The Nambi Effect” has finally got a release date, July 1, 2022. The movie will release in Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam and Kannada. Madhavan tweeted: “Madhavan’s Rocketry to have cameos by Shah Rukh Khan, Suriya; release date announced,” he posted with heart emojis and folded hands of gratitude. The movie is based on the life of the former ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan, who was falsely accused of espionage, and his fight for justice. Madhavan plays the title role in the movie.

Rajit Kapur, Ravi Raghavendra, Misha Ghoshal, Gulshan Grover, among others will be seen in supporting roles. South Indian superstar Suriya will play a cameo in the Tamil version while Shah Rukh Khan will do the cameo in the Hindi and English versions of the film. Madhavan was last seen in the 2021 film “Maara” as well as the Netflix series “Decoupled”.
