New Delhi, June 24 : Film and television actor Kamaal Malik who is known for his roles in ‘Airlift’, ‘Race 3’, ‘Tarak Mehta ka Ulta Chasma’ among others, on Thursday launched the first look poster of his new video song ‘Khwabon Mein Mile’.
Talking about the same, the actor said, “it’s a very well composed sufi song which will be loved by the music lovers. I have been very fond of singing since childhood, so along with acting, I am also active in singing. This song was originally sung by Mehdi Hassan, but I have given a new touch to the same song. It’s a tribute to him.”
“It’s a very beautiful tragic song which has been shot in the picturesque locales of Rishikesh. We have done full justice to the lyrics which can be seen in the video. We are not only hopeful but also sure that the song sung in Sufi style will be liked by the audience and they will give their love to it,” he added.
The song is produced by Zulfukar Tiger under the banner of ZA Films International and Kamaal Malik Productions. It is directed by S K Panchal and the music is given by Sundaram Khan. It will be out on June 30th on YouTube.
On the film front, Kamaal is busy shooting for Ahmed Khan’s directorial next. The untitled film stars Sunny Deol in the lead role.
