New Delhi, June 30: The anticipation for Faruk Kabir’s ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha’ has gone up several notches higher ever since their songs ‘Ru Ba Ru’ and ‘Haq Hussain’ have hit the internet.
While the first song of the film, ‘Chaiyaan Mein’ lent it’s soulful melody to the film, ‘Ru Ba Ru’ is a love song and ‘Haq Hussain’ is an energetic number that has been touted to be India’s first action song.
With the first three songs of the film out, fans have waited for the film’s next track with bated breath. And now, the fourth song of the film, ‘Aaja Ve’, is another love track.
Composed by Vishal Mishra, the song has been co-written by director Faruk Kabir, Vishal Mishra and Kaushal. Very few know that Faruk has doubled up as the lyricist and action choreographer for ‘Khuda Haafiz Chapter 2 – Agni Pariksha’.
One of Bollywood’s top directors, Faruk has been known to be a hands-on filmmaker. And for him, music plays a crucial role. So involved is he in his movie-making process, that he has often referred to the music as the ‘soul’ of his films. And it shows!
Speaking about his song ‘Aaja Ve’, Faruk said, “Khuda Haafiz may be driven by action but at its core, it’s a tale of love. I only deemed it fit that we did another song to celebrate Sameer and Nargis’ story. And out of this idea, Aaja Ve was born! I hope you enjoy this love song.”
Produced by Panorama Studios and Action Heroes, the Faruk Kabir directorial, starring Vidyut Jammwal and Shivaleeka Oberoi, will hit the theatres on July 8.
