Kanye Causing ‘Emotional Distress’: Kim
Los Angeles, Feb 25: Reality TV star Kim Kardashian has named ’emotional distress’ as the reason for seeking separation from her rapper husband. She urged a US court to end her marriage with West in a new appeal after the rapper pulled an objection to her previous claim. Filling new legal documents in court, the SKIMS mogul has made it clear once again that she’s ready to end their marriage.
“Kanye has been putting a lot of misinformation regarding our private matters and co-parenting on social media which has created emotional distress,” E News quoted her statement on Thursday. “The Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum also claimed that she asked Ye to keep their divorce proceedings out of the public eye “but he has not done so”. “While I wish our marriage would have succeeded, I have come to the realisation that there is no way to repair our marriage,” Kim said.
“Kanye does not agree but at least it appears that he has come to the realisation that I want to end our marriage, even if he does not.” Kim filed for divorce with husband Kanye West last year. Kim and Kanye tied the knot on May 14, 2014, the former couple have four children, daughters North and Chicago and sons Saint and Psalm. They were married for about seven years. Kim is dating Pete Davidson since last fall and is ready to “begin the healing process and move forward”. A virtual hearing is set for March 2.
