Jahnvi Pens Emotional Note For Mom Sridevi
Mumbai, Feb 24: Jahnvi Kapoor on Thursday posted a rare childhood photograph of herself with her mother, Sridevi, who passed away four years back.
The veteran “Mr India” actress left a huge emotional void in the hearts of not just her family and friends, but also fans after she suddenly died. Celebrating her memories, Sridevi’s eldest daughter shared a picture sitting on her mother’s lap as a toddler.
She also penned an emotional note to her late mother:

Hailed as one of Bollywood’s superstars and one of its most iconic actresses, Sridevi passed away in Dubai at the age of 54. She apparently accidentally drowned in a hotel bathtub. Sridevi worked in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi movies. She was known for her iconic roles in Hindi movies like ‘Chandni’, ‘Lamhe’, ‘Mr India’, ‘Chaalbaaz’, ‘Nagina’, ‘Sadma’ and ‘English Vinglish’ etc. She is also well known for her work in Tamil films such as Varumayin Niram Sivappu, Meendum Kokila, Premabhishekam, Vazhvey Maayam, Moondram Pirai, Aakhari Poratam, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. For her many contributions to India’s art and cinema, she was honoured with the National Award and Padma Shri. Her 300th ad film ‘Mom’ was released in 2017, for which she also received the Best Actress National Award, posthumously.
